Peaceful Peaks Bed and Breakfast

First Night

       Check in Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. on.  Get settled in then visit one of the local restaurants for dinner.  The area has everything from a small diner just minutes from Peaceful Peaks that offers delicious homemade comfort foods and friendly small town service to fine restaurants serving gourmet dinners.  Be it chicken and dumplings or steak and seafood, guests can find something to satisfy their palate. 

       Upon returning to Peaceful Peaks, Gary will make you a bowl of his delicious popcorn for you to enjoy while watching a movie selected from our video library.  Snuggle up and nestle in for a relaxing evening.

Saturday Morning

      A hearty breakfast will be served prior to you embarking on a relaxing day.  Some suggested ways to spend your day in the North Country are:

*Visit the Adirondack Artisan - a unique arts and crafts boutique displaying  the work of over 50 area artists and craftspeople

*Visit the Birchbark Bookstore - home of over 50,000 books and wonderful handmade Adirondack furniture and accessories

*Search out the numerous waterfalls in the area

*Hike the Stone Valley trail here in Colton

*Visit the many shops in Canton and Potsdam

*Visit the Wild Center, Adirondack Natural History Museum, in Tupper Lake

*Travel to Ottawa, Ontario,  and discover the fascinating capital of Canada 

*Visit Lake Placid, New York, in the Adirondack mountains, the site of the 1980 Winter Olympics

*Attend or participate in local events

Return that evening to dessert or s'mores, popcorn, movies and games in your room or visit with Gary and Lorraine and the other guests in the living room. 

Sunday Morning

Another hearty breakfast will end your weekend at Peaceful Peaks.  Gary and Lorraine's hope is that you will leave feeling more relaxed and looking forward to another visit to Peaceful Peaks Bed and Breakfast.
